Are you sure this looks right?" El asked, inspecting her barely recognizable reflection in the body mirror.

Eliza had worked long and hard on Elvira "Azure Witch" costume, and to El surprise, it was actually really good,

It was a torso-length skin tight suit, hugging the curves of her body, it was blue, as El requested, with a flame motif across her chest, each row of flames a darker shade as it went downward.

The bottom flame was a royal blue, followed by a sky blue, a robin's egg blue to match her hair, then a pale blue reaching over her cleavage, the rest of the suit was a simple azure color, hence the name.

Her shoulders were exposed, pale skin flashed with the brilliant blue, her gloves were long like opera glove that reached over either bicep.

It was the same color and the suit and had the same flame design beginning at the wrist and ending on the for arm.

At the base of her collar and the end of her gloves were a peculiar,( But festive, as Eliza put it) ring of feather-like decorations, circling around her neck like a choker, popping out with a rick dark blue in contrast to her skin as pale as the moon.

Elvira did not ask for the particular addition, but Eliza insisted that it suited her.

She had no idea why.

She had on black tights, that stood almost in eye-popping contrast.

Her boots, that were without heels, were thigh-high, sort of hard to walk in, but that was to be expected on account of the leather.

The followed the same motif with the blue and the flames, but there were no feather designs,

Thank Asgard.

There were, however, metal over the toes and the heels of her boots.

But Eliza did not know, that the mask that she so carefully put together out of the kindness of her heart for a friend, the very mask that served the purpose of hiding her identity from her enemies, that was as vivid blue as the rest of it, with the fire returning around the holes meant for her eyes like eye shadow, which blazed with the contrast of her dark green eyes,

It looked a lot like Hela's.

Right down to the damned strange cloth extensions atop the head!

But she was reluctant to say anything, though she did not think that Eliza would be particularly insulted, El just did not know if she should,

Simply for an, outlandish and crazy reason, really.

Maybe she could adorn it as a reminder of Hela's treachery, a testament for her new resolve, as a heroine, and to overcome the Azure blade, and wield it to a greatness that even her beloved sister could hardly imagine in her wildest dreams!

All that side, however, Elvira was astounded by the great detail and quality of the costumes design!

Eliza did a job that far exceeded simple costume making, this was far more akin to the work of a professional!

Or maybe she was just really gifted in that regard.

"Of course it looks right, you look very pretty." Eliza answered happily, beaming proudly at her work.

Today Eliza was in a white jacket, with a black fur trim at the hood, her hair was its natural color today, and her earrings were silver snowflakes dangling past her hair, and she wore a white shirt under her jacket with, again, black jeans.

" Thanks." El said with a light blush, its not like she has never been complimented before, it was just not something that was very consistent, sure, she's sometimes be complimented by friends at school, especially when she'd hang-out with them and try out new cloths, but it was more of a girl-friends kinda compliment, when Eliza said it, it was, different.

"But I have to ask, why the feathers, for real? Their pretty, but I can't help but think I look like a botched Marti gras costume, Gumbit would be most amused." Elvira said cynically.

Eliza snorted."Gumbit?"

" Shut up! I can't pronounce his name very well, okay! English is not my first language!" She said defensively.

Eliza laughed, " Right, sorry, its just kinda funny." She said, trying to stifle her laughter.

Elvira, arms crossed and not amused, waited for it to subside.

" Are you finished?" She asked.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm good," Her friend answered, standing up.

She is strange, El thought, the unwanted perception of her curse flaring up again. Perhaps not more so then I, but there is something indeed mysterious to her, but then, the same could be said for anyone.

Perhaps she is untrustworthy. Whispered the shadowy voice of the Azure blade.

Your still here, are you? El replied to her with spite.

Yes, so kind of you to remember me. The weapon replied with thinly veiled distain.

El rolled her eyes. She is not my enemy, stop with this, attempting to revive your failed plan to take my body, its almost laughable if it wasn't so pathetic! Elvira sneered in her head.

" El, you okay?" Eliza asked, concerned by the grin look on Elvira's face as she took of her mask and clasped her forehead with a low grunt.

" Yeah." She groaned.

" Its the sword, isn't it?" Eliza asked seriously, Stepping back a bit.

El chuckled dryly.

" Its," El said, forcing a smile, trying to push out a lie to spare her friend concern." It hurts!" She cried, unable to stop the truth from leaving her lips, she cried out further, feeling the same pulsating power as before, back when she first grasp the hilt of the sword, then there was a wave of pain, a surge of power, and finally blackness.

This was different, though, it didn't feel like it was fusing with her this time, rather, it felt like it was pulling away!

" Elvira!" Eliza shouted, taking a step forward to hold El steady, but when she made contact with her skin, she felt a sudden and seering burn!

She quickly pulled away with a shout, looking down at her hands, and seeing a from out of the freezing burn on her palms, the same blue vein that were raking across Elvira's body, were spreading up her arms, turning her skin blue!

" Eliza!" El shouted as she saw her friend freeze in place before she even had time to scream!

" You damn bitch, what did you do?!" El demanded, her rage pulling the sword back to her consciousness!

" No mere human can touch me, only one of Jotun decent can, when I activated, it was as though I were still in sword form." It said.

" Jotun? Like Hela, Father, and I." El said, her rage far from subsiding. " And why did I not know of this?!" She shouted," I thought that we were linked, that I could see you thoughts!"

" You are not yet strong enough to see all of my thoughts, foolish girl." The sword hissed.

" Tell me how to reverse this if you know what's good for you!" Elvira screamed at the dark in her head, gesturing to her friend, who stood as though an ice sculpture.

Azure chuckled heartlessly." Your like a little wolf pup, all bark, no bite."

Elvira clenched her jaw.

She sighed." What do you want?"

"Take me to your Sister." The sword demanded.

" Ha, I should be so foolish, to stroll into her domain, I'm sure my power, of a mere novice level, will fair nicely against hers, a goddamned warrior queen of Nifleheim!" El replied, not believing that such a request was made to her!

" Think about it, if you and I were meant to meet up according to her scheme, she may have meant for us to cause something to occur here in Midgard, so she may not want us to go to meet her in hel." It reasoned.

" You think that I have not thought of that? That I didn't want revenge?! Ney, I did! But I know my sister, no matter what I do, it may, may! Be just one more twine in her ever-spinning web of lies!" Elvira shouted!

Then, her eyes glowing blue, the sword said while taking possession of El's body," YOU DARE DEFY THE WILL OF A BLADE FORGED BY THE ROARING FIRES OF THE VANAR DREKAR, CRAFTED BY THE DVERGAR! I WAS CREATE FOR THE MIGHT OF A QUEEN, NOT A SNIFFLING WITCHLING PLAYING WITH MAGIC! I WILL PLAY YOUR SILLY GAMES OF BEING THE HERO NO MORE!" The Sword screamed in its own voice, a deeper, crueler sounding voice shrouded by the might of her screams of rage no longer constricted!

Levitating into the air, the room started freezing over, ferns of ice covering the walls, a blizzard roaring through the air!

El, seeing all this happen, saw that the already frozen Eliza was only getting colder from all this madness, El could feel her life slipping away, was helpless to stop her once again, she feared her soul would be consumed again if she did not act soon!

Move your arm! She mentally commanded herself, the mental strain actually becoming painful to endure!

The arm moved a centimeter to the left, a shard of glass from the now broken mirror flew into her hand and, Azure tried to immobilize her,

" Just accept my power, the pain will go away and your friend will live, I promise!" She cried, struggling to pull away El's stubborn arm.

" Hah! A promise from Hela's sword, that's rich! And I will accept the power, but not at the expense of my freedom, I will endure whatever pain necessary if it means subjugating you once in for all!" El shouted furiously, then with great strain, thrust the shard into her right arm, right where the Azure blade had nested itself almost a year before!

A howl of pain came from the blade as a queer blue liquid ran down her arm, probably permanently staining the costume, she fell to the ground, the blizzard falling with her.

A blanket of bitter frost still cover every surface of the room, lighting its with an almost beautiful blue hue.

Eliza was still frozen solid, but she was alive, El could sense that much, and it longer felt as though her life was draining, this was probably the work of Elvira's own will, not wanting her to die.

Though she did not see how this was a better alterative!

" Its all in blue" El mused, gaining control once more, she laughed bitterly." I fear that the very color that I hold so dear as a beacon of hope, will inevitable be what paints my ultimate damnation." She said, looking grimly at the bark blue blood still flowing through her wound, as blue as the skin of a pure-blood jotun, she wondered if her father's blood was the same way, and it this was from his genetics, why now?

If not, its probably just the damn Azure blade.

" All this just because you want to crawl back to your master, a wolf will return from the hunt for two reasons, one, it had succeeded and returns with game in its jaws, two, it failed, and is injured and weakened, I see your mind, Azure, you want to return now because you feel helpless, because you know that I can never be subjugated now, and I won't let you return until I have claimed your power as my own." El said darkly.

" That's a tad cruel, don't you think, like keeping a frightened child from returning to its mother." A new voice rang through the room.

Elvira simply scoffed," I have no more mercy for this thing." She said coldly, holding her arm where it still bled.

" So cold, a lot like your father, and you seem to pay no mind to a stranger's voice in your room." The woman's voice mused.

" I am not my father! " Elvira barked, then took a breath, knowing it wasn't wise to let her emotions consume her." And I have seem things far more frightening as of late, I do ask, however, that you show yourself." El said calmly.

Then, through a yellowish-green ring of magic, appeared a stunningly beautiful woman, with long blonde tresses, worn loose with a short green dress with matching green gloves.

" You are-" Yes, I am Amora, the Enchantress." She replied.

" Why are you here?" El asked.

" A simple "hello" would suit you just fine." The Enchantress said.

" How about "goodbye"? Now go!" El spat.

" And then what? Do you even know how to release your friend without killing her?" Amora asked, pointing nonchalantly at the ice statue that was her friend.

El looked saddened and ashamed," I suppose I don't." She admitted.

" Do not despair, little jotun, what if I told you I could." Amora offered.

" It would not surprise me in the least, you are one of the strongest magic-user in all nine realms, save for my father, of course. But what does surprise me is the sudden act of benevolence, you think I don't know the deceitful woman you are behind the pretty face, what is truly in this for you, what's the catch?" Elvira asked, suspicious.
Amora laughed, impressed at her perception.
" Indeed his child, yes, I do have a favor I wish to ask, and in return I will free your friend." The Enchantress said, her voice lowering, as though ready to play a very cruel game with Elvira.
" What favor?" El asked, her suspicion in this woman far from lowering.
" I want you to retrieve something for me in Alfheim." The sorceress behested.
" Alfheim? The home of the White Elves? What in god's name would someone like you want from there?" El demanded in an accusatory tone.
" Are you really in a position to judge I? Considering what you've done, and all in the name of what you called love, I think its a little inappropriate for you to judge me, after all, you did just as I have done, committed evil deeds because of the love you had for a man." Amora replied with a condescending sneer.
Elvira felt her blood start to boil, in sharp contrast with the bitter cold felt in her blood earlier.
" Who told you of that?" El asked darkly.
" Oh really, its not hard to guess." Amora replied, rolling her eyes.
El laughed bitterly.
" You are not as insightful as you think, Amora, I didn't love him, not truly, but you are right, I guess its not so different from you and my Uncle." El sneered right back.
Amora's eyes narrowed, but she said nothing.
" Oh? No response, no tantrum to throw to express your wrath? I suppose that gods can mature after all." El mocked.
" I will look past your arrogance if you promise to aid me." Amora said with thinly veiled frustration with the younger sorceress.
" Why can you, a sorceress of power far greater then mine, not complete this task on your own?" Elvira asked.
You ask a lot of questions considering that its your friend's life that hangs in the balance." Amora replied.
El glared angrily at her father's former ally.
" You truly plan to use her against me, don't you?" She asked.
" If that's what it comes to, yes."
" How do you know that I won't just refuse?" El asked.
A devilish grin played on Amora's flawless features.
" Because you are not one of us."
El chuckled a bit," Indeed, you are an evil woman, Amora the Enchantress, I am glad I am not you," She replied, then she looked to Eliza's stiff form, sorrow and fear for her friend's life slashing at her heart like a sharp blade.
" I will aid you, but only if you release her now." El, banishing her pride, agreed.
Amora wordlessly nodded, then approached Eliza, then she ran a green-hued hand over her frame...
Only to find it did not work!
" What?" Amora exclaimed softly, confused that her magic did nothing to free this mortal from her icy prison!
And her confusion turned to fright as she felt her own mobility leave her!
A trickster's grin spread over Elvira's face slowly, excitement burst into her chest like a bursting flame in an engine," I guess its true what they say about blondes." El said with a nonchalant sigh hanging in her sentence.
She rose to her feet, and, not caring in the least the look of fright on the Enchantress' lovely face, healed the self-inflicted injury on her arm, which also, with the use of magic, mending and cleaned the tattered glove. " They are very, very, stupid." She at last said, relishing the moment of victory over this woman who was indeed her senor in terms of spells and even experience,
" What have you done to me?!" Amora screamed as the same layer of ice that encased Eliza now entice her!
" You think me a fool, Amora? I know that it was you." Elvira said darkly, coldly watching the woman collapse, unable to keep her balance on frozen blue legs!
" What are you talking about?" She asked, trying to fight the pain.
" It was you who turned off the curse in the hospital so that I would not sense it when they captured me, who watched me as I took that butcher doctor's life, you were there, I know this, do not deny it!" The young Jotun yelled, her voice hoarse with rage!
" And if you try, I promise that I will grant you a slow and painful demise." El promised, as serious as death, and twice as frightening.
" Y-you placed your friend in such a state just to lure me out?" Amora asked with strain from the spreading ice across her body.
" No, you think I'm some sort of monster?" El asked playfully as she snapped her fingers, instantly freeing Eliza.
The punk clerk clutched herself, trying to fight the lingering cold.
" Jesus, El, it took you long enough!" She snapped.
"Sorry." El said honestly, her expression caring when looking at Eliza, only to turn cold again upon turning her attention back to Amora.
El sat in a chair, doming her finger tips together as though contemplating her next move.
" I take it you've already confessed?" She asked," If you answer me honestly, I will make the pain stop."
" Yes, I was there!" Amora screamed, her body enflamed by the bitter cold!
" Good little abomination." El sneered, giving her hand a small wave, stopping the spread of her spell.
"How did you manage this, you are just a novice!" Amora shouted.
El smiled, it was not a question.
" I will say this, part of what you saw was real, the sword truly does wish to go home." El began, glancing at her right hand." But I will not grant this wish, as I said, I will never let it go back to her again, this sword is mine now, and I don't share what is mine."
El clenched her fist, putting Amora in pain once more!
" And I also no longer tolerate being a pawn in someone's game!" She shouted angrily!
" El!" Eliza began, grasping El's wrist,  not sure if Elvira was herself, or if torturing this poor woman like this was right. " I'm worried for you, this may be the influence of the sword and you have simply been tricked into thinking that this was your idea." She whispered, leaning in close to El's ear.
She laughed lightly in response.
" Its funny, I shatter most of the glass in your apartment, told you I was the offspring of the greatest enemy Midgard has ever known, and am of relation to some of the most powerful and evil creatures in mythology, told you I have a living sword in my body, and that I can never tell a lie, which is in and of itself outlandish and unnerving, encased you in ice as part of a plan to trap a sorceress and goddess, and yet only now you worry, and its on her account." El said, gesturing to the Enchantress.
" Its not her I'm worried about." Eliza said seriously.
Elvira went silent, not knowing what to say to that, thus chosing to ignore it.
" Amora, now that you've gathered your mind, I now am the one with a proposition for you." She said with glee,
Amora glared at her, her emerald eyes filled with rage and humiliation at being bested by a child, indicating to El that she was indeed listening.
El's smile widened." Excellent, I will retrieve this artifact for you, but only if you are the one to grant me a favor." She said, raising her index finger.
Amora sat up, the blue fading from her flesh.
" What sort of favor?" Amora asked, dreading the grin that appeared on Elvira Lokisdaughter's face.

The new chapter is here! Featuring the lovely Enchantress!

I know that El is just a novice and should not have been able to do that, but to those who may wonder she's barrowing the sword's power right now.

El is flipping kicking ass! Beating Enchantress at her game, very nice! :D She's a force a nature that shouldn't be messed with! :) Her powers are incredible, even if shared with a sadistic blade. And I don't know why, but I loved the fact that her blood was blue! I seriously don't know why, I think because it is pretty awesome :D And that sneaky little bitch of El pretending like she couldn't save Eliza..... Pretty amazing, I have to say!

I love Enchantress, even if her ass got kicked by a teenager. She seems very faithful to the original character, in my opinion, and I can't wait to see more of her! :)

Oh yeah, I love the feathers! I'm obsessed with feathers!
